The kindergarten is managed by a committee, elected at the Annual General Meeting in November, from the parents of the children who will be attending kinder in the following year.
The kindergarten operates as a small business, needing the same amount of input as any other business. However, unlike a small business, the committee members are not paid. Generally committee members derive a great deal of personal satisfaction from their contribution.
The committee meets once a month. Decisions are made in regard to all aspects of running the kinder. Every parent is welcome to join the committee and attend meetings.
